Here, you’ll find fare information for tickets and passes for all services offered by the MTA.
-Passengers must deposit cash into the farebox.
-The farebox does not make cash change.
-An MTA fare card will be issued by the farebox as change for a future ride.
-Bus operators cannot make change and are prohibited from handling your fare.
-Day passes are valid on all MTA routes for the duration of the day.
-The MTA is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets or monthly passes.

All passes can be purchased:
|Zone 1: Rides within one service community.||$3.00||$1.50|

|Zone 3: Rides to out-of-region destinations (Manchester, Windham).||$5.00||$2.50|
-Children 6-15 ride at half-fare. Children under age five ride free.
-Exact cash fares are required as drivers do not carry cash and cannot make change.

Passengers riding for half-fare must present an MTA identification card (ID) or a Medicare card (not a Medicaid card) to the driver. To obtain an MTA ID card, come to the Manchester Welcome Center at 775 Elm St., Monday-Friday from 6:30am to 9:30pm.
The cost for an MTA ID card is $2.00.
-These ID cards allow you to ride our fixed-route buses for half the usual fare.
-They cannot be used on the StepSaver service.
-Applications received without the required supporting documentation will not be approved.
-Drivers will not accept applications
